Bio

Don Petersen was a Detroit punk who grew up with a mom and two sisters on food stamps and welfare.  At a young age, he started fighting out of necessity; he’s never stopped fighting and he will fight for you.

Don entered community college and then fought his way to the University of Chicago and then Harvard Law School.  Don was teaching economics at Harvard by the time he was 24. He taught at Oakland University and Western Michigan Cooley Law School for a combined total of nearly 20 years.

Since leaving Harvard, Don has represented clients nationwide, ranging from small to mid-size businesses, high-profile executives, non-profits and Fortune 500 companies. He is an expert in a wide range of commercial transactions, sophisticated and simplistic.
